Alessandro Marseglia is a young lute maker from Naples. I met him because a few friends had tried his guitars at a trade show, and they suggested I stop traveling around Italy in search of makers every time I had a problem with a guitar, because there was a great one who lived in Pozzuoli. So I gave him a call and I went to visit him. I found myself in front of an incredible character who lived in the countryside building guitars and breeding virtuous goldfinches (old and noble artn of Neapolitan traditions). I immediately ordered a guitar, delivered in
2006. Still, he has helped a lot in the perfectioning of the Extreme Guitar, he has worked on it several times, strong because of his past as a player of electric guitar and expert manipulator of circuits, thus solving more than a few emergencies. That’s why I asked him to work on the construction of an Extreme Guitar II.
